Bring the shoebox.

Tip it out and watch. Every receipt is read and sorted into your books. Sarah checks each line before anything goes to the ATO.

  1. Bookkeeping

    Weekly or monthly, your call.

    • Snap a receipt or bring the shoebox
    • Payroll and super paid on time
    • Books reconciled every month
  2. BAS and tax

    Lodged on time, every quarter.

    • Every BAS checked by a person before it goes
    • Tax returns for the business and its owners
    • ATO letters explained in plain English
  3. Straight answers

    Ask before you decide.

    • Can we afford to hire?
    • Should we set up a company?
    • How much do we put aside for tax?

One page a month.

Each month you get a single page in plain English: what came in, what went out and what needs your eyes. Read it with a coffee.

How we start

  1. We look at your books as they are. Shoebox, spreadsheet or an app.
  2. You get a fixed fee before any work begins.
  3. We set a monthly rhythm, so the pile never builds up again.

Some papers never leave the office.

Four of us work from a first-floor office in Paddington. The person who checks your books is the person you can call.

Payslips, tax file numbers and staff records are processed on a computer in our office. They never go to online AI tools, and a person checks the work.

Fair questions.

Can you take us on mid-year?

Yes. We start with your books as they are and tell you what catch-up work is needed, at a fixed price, before we begin.

What does it cost?

Bookkeeping is a fixed monthly fee, agreed before we start. BAS and tax returns are a fixed price each. If something will cost more, you hear it before it happens.

Where do our payroll files go?

Onto a computer in our office, and nowhere else. Receipts and invoices go into your online books as usual.

Xero or MYOB?

Either works. If you're starting fresh, we'll help you pick, based on who uses it day to day.

Do we have to come in?

No. Phone, video or a visit all work. The shoebox is welcome either way.

Start with a chat.

The first chat costs nothing. Call, email or bring the shoebox up the stairs.
